We are looking for a South African GENERAL MANAGER in V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
High volume turnover, South African Cuisine, local, Cape Malay, fresh and Spicy, fine dining venue with live music.
Wine knowledge is a big plus as it is an up-market ,220 seater Restaurant.
You will need a STABLE TRACK RECORD, in general and in no job hopping.
The job requires debt review analysis and criminal reference Checking.
At least 5 years experience managing a large restaurant, managing staff etc, 10years in the industry required.
Preferably male.
You need to be an energetic, professional person that can handle the pace of an extremely busy restaurant during peak season & can manage a very diverse team with very strong personalities, as well as work with a fun, team spirit.
Is a cozy restaurant with great music vibes.
Must have own transport for shift work.
A love or Music is a great advantage.
